Peanut Butter Chocolate Energy Bites

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or another nut butter if you prefer
  • 1/2 cup oats old fashioned rolled oats are recommended
  • 1/2 tsp honey or pure 100% maple syrup
  • 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 handful chocolate chips or maybe 2 or 3 if you prefer
  • 1 dash ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 2 tbsp crushed walnuts optional

Method
 

  1. Add half the oats.
  2. Add the peanut butter.
  3. Add the rest of the oats (this makes it easier to mix).
  4. Mix.
  5. Add honey or maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, and sea salt, then mix!
  6. Add in the walnuts and fold in the chocolate chips until you reach the desired amount.
  7. (Make sure your hands are definitely clean or even wear gloves. Be prepared to wash your hands.)
  8. Roll into bite sizes.
  9. Enjoy as is or put individually into plastic wrap (to separate them), drop into a plastic bag, and refrigerate (heck, freeze them if you want)! Enjoy!
