Meal Prep: Overnight Oats

I can be a pretty lazy person. I mean, I get stuff done; I complete work, I get ready for online school in the morning, I exercise, I cook food. Basic things that most people do. But when it comes to mornings. I become the most sluggish and lazy person ever. Making breakfast is honestly sometimes something I don’t want to do; therefore, meal prepping the night before is super nice for any day. Overnight oats is one of my favorite meal prep recipes for breakfast that you can make the night before, or a couple nights before. You can change it up according to your own preferences, and can be great for getting into oats!

Topping Ideas:

  • Chocolate Chip Cookie: Add a dash of vanilla the night of preparation. In the morning, top it with some crushed walnuts, nut butter, and mini dark chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Oatmeal Raisin Cookie: Add an extra 1-2 tsp of cinnamon the night of preparation. Top with raisins, and caramelized walnuts.
  • Berries: Add blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and granola or shredded toasted coconut.
  • Cinnamon Apple: Top with some cinnamon apples. You can use my 2 minute microwave recipe here if you’d like!
  • Banana: Top with sliced banana, peanut butter, and a few chocolate chips.
